The MDA is pleased to announce that Atsushi Ishiyama, President of GK Dynamics, is the recipient of this year's Honorary Membership.
Born in the Ehime Prefecture of Japan in 1938, Ishiyama-san graduated from the Tokyo National University of Fine Art and Music in 1961, majoring in Industrial Art. He joined the GK Design Group in 1964, since when he has been responsible, both directly and indirectly, for countless numbers of Yamaha production models.
 To commemorate the occasion, Ishiyama-san was presented with the MDA's customary engraved plaque, and gave a presentation of his work for Yamaha with GK Dynamics during our Intermot Designers' Night on 14 September in Munich. |
