I am based in Sydney, Australia and have been riding motorcycles on a daily basis for 27 years. I consider that a well designed, unified and pure form can carry along with it a powerful and uplifting emotional message for its user - be it pride, reassurance or just a slight smile of pleasure whenever such a shape is beheld sitting quietly in the garage. Motorcycles are already exciting shapes to me, and it is my greatest pleasure to work with such dynamic forms. The new generation of computer design tools with which I work, when used properly, give an artist a whole new level of creativity - bringing their wildest imaginings kicking and screaming into existence! I tend to pursue any new concept I develop from the first sketches, straight into solid modelling. I can't wait to see if my initial idea can be built by modelling it in 3D.
